Master Gardener Program
North Carolina Cooperative Extension in Macon County is taking applications for participation in the 2019 Master Gardener Program.
The Master Gardener Program is a short course in horticulture provided each year by North Carolina Cooperative Extension to help home gardeners gain a better understanding of gardening and plants.
Master Gardeners receive 42 hours of training in subjects including insects and disease, fruits, shade trees, ornamentals, lawn care, and vegetable culture. After successfully completing the training and the volunteer component of the program you will be certified as a Master Gardener.
