Attention Organization Leaders:

County Fair time is almost here again! This year’s Macon County Fair will be held September 12 – 15, 2018. The theme is “Bushels, Bales, and Tails.” The Fair Association extends to you the opportunity to construct an educational booth using this theme. This is an excellent time to better acquaint the public with your organization.

Booths must be constructed on Monday, September 10 (one day only).  All work on educational booths must be completed between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m., on Monday, to be eligible for judging. Booths dismantled prior to the official close of the fair will result in your organization not receiving any promotions or awards and disqualification from participation the following year. The building will be open on Sunday, September 16 from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Monday, September 17 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon so that you may complete removal of your booth.

Educational Booth Letter and Educational Booth Application are attached below. Please read and fill out and return to Macon County Cooperative Extension, c/o Debbie Hunter, 193 Thomas Heights Rd., Franklin, NC 28734.
