2026 Macon 4-H Beekeepers(for ages 9 and up) will start with an orientation on January 14th. Please sign up with Tammara by January 12th if you are interested. Here are some details:
- Taught by expert beekeepers from Macon County
- All equipment is provided
- Group will meet every other Wednesday throughout the season at 5:30
- Learn everything you need to know about how to work with bees, keep them healthy and collect honey
- Each youth needs an adult to work with them to be in this group

Sharp Shooters Indoor Air Rifle Practice - WHEP (Wildlife Habitat Educational Program)
(for ages 9 and up) meetings January 12th & 26th - Cooperative Extension Office

- Tune up your marksmanship even though it's cold outside
- January meetings January 12th and 26th at 5:30
- While half of the group is shooting - the other half will study wildlife habitat
Macon Hoofprints Horse Club (for ages 5 and up) meetings in January on Jan. 7th and 21st. Meet at the Cooperative Extension Office for the first month
- This club had an organizational meeting in December
- Each month (starting in Feb or March depending on the weather) we will have one unmounted activity and one riding activity -
- You do not have to have a horse to participate but you do have to own or lease a horse for riding activities
