Family and Consumer Science Agent, Kim Terrell, recently completed a six-week wellness series with faculty and staff at East Franklin Elementary entitled Get Well, Be Well, Stay Well. Participants learned strategies to improve their overall health and wellness including ways to improve immunity and reduce stress. One of the highlights of the class was taste testing the healthy recipes. If your organization is interested in hosting a wellness class, please contact Kim at the N.C. Cooperative Extension of Macon County office at 828-349-2047 or email her at kimberly_terrell@ncsu.edu.
