The insects around our yards and gardens are super important. During this activity we will learn about the importance of pollinators and insects in our environment. Kids will have the opportunity to find different types of insects in a scavenger hunt, identify the most common ones we find and tell each other why they are important. We will also explore how to create habitats around our home to encourage beneficial insects. We will finish up with a fun craft.
