Join Kim Terrell, Extension Agent, Family & Consumer Sciences at N.C. Cooperative Extension, Macon County Center for a Beginner Water Bath class on Canning Pickles.  You have two classes to choose from.  The first class will be on Saturday, July 15, 10:00 AM-12:00 PM and the second class will be Thursday, August 3, from 10:00AM-12:00 PM. Choose one of these dates to come learn.  You will learn the basics of canning dill pickles. At the end of this class, you will have your very own jar of pickles and knowledge of hot water bath canning!  The class will be located at 193 Thomas Heights Rd., Franklin.  Cost of the class is $20.00 per person and you pay at the class.  Pre-registration is required, class size is limited so register early.  Call 828-349-2046 to register.
