4-H Summer Program Passport to Cooking

This week Macon County 4-H'ers in Passport To Cooking learned table manners, a few language words and cooked a full course meal that is common in each nation they learned about. 4-H'ers learned all about Japan, Costa Rica and Norway.  Day One they cooked and enjoyed eating a meal of Teriyaki Chicken, Fried Rice, and Goma-Ae Greenbeans and had Mochi Ice Cream Balls for desert.  Day two they learned about Costa Rica  and day three Norway.  Day two 4-H'ers learned about Costa Rica and cooked Costa Rican Gallo Pintos, Carrot and Green Bean Picadillo, Gallitos De Papa, and homemade Costa Rican Tortillas. Day Three they learned all about Norway and cooked Norwegian Meatballs, Buttered Herb Potatoes, and finished off the meal with Cinnamon Rolls.
