Giving a special gift of food during the holidays is a great way to put your home food preservation skills to good use. Taking steps to prevent foodborne illness when preparing food as gifts will lead to a truly safe and happy holiday. We will cover safe methods of canning Apple Pie Filling and Praline Syrup and participants will have a hands-on opportunity to make these two products.
