Shearing 4-H Market Lambs
It is lamb time in Macon County! Our 4-H Market Lamb Club received their lambs in June. Participants in the 4-H Market Lamb club have been working hard over the past 6 weeks to halter break and train their show lambs.
It’s so hot outside that we are helping our market lambs remove their wool coats! Right now, our members are in the process of shearing, checking their feet and worming their lambs to make sure they grow to their full potential. As their fleeces come off, our lamb’s appetite will increase which is great.
