State Presentation – Egg Cookery

Our Macon County presenters competed among 312 other 4-Hers who participated in District and State 4-H Presentation contest. They each submitted videos of their presentations for the competition. Normally their presentations are live in front of a set of judges, but this year, they made the best better by recording their videos.

Presentations are a huge part of North Carolina 4-H. It is one of the most successful ways to help a young person learn how to do a public speech. It focuses on members teaching others what they know about a particular project/subject matter. They are sometimes called demonstrations or illustrated talk or a formal speech.

We are so proud of their accomplishments and hard work.
Emma Baker placed silver in Entomology
Shelby Cyphers placed silver in Egg Cookery
Rose Mutz place silver in the Open category
Sara Young placed gold in Environmental Science
